An enduring freelance writer, TV host, and podcaster, Gary Lewis’s distinctive voice has brought extraordinary power to his expression, capturing the world of the hunter and fisherman in combustible literary riffs, visceral rhythms, and visual experience. He is twice past president of the Northwest Outdoor Writers Association and winner of Excellence in Craft, Enos Bradner, and Legacy awards.

Lewis is twice past president of the Northwest Outdoor Writers Association (NOWA) and was honored with NOWA’s prestigious Enos Bradner Award.Many of his books and articles have won Excellence in Craft awards, and he has received numerous awards for his newspaper columns and magazine articles.
